Day - 01: Yangon - Arrival (D)
Arrived Yangon International Airport. Meet & transfer to hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image - a colossal reclining Buddha Image and Bogyoke Market - formerly known as Scott Market. Early evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda - 2500 years old the world famous. Before dinner take a walk china town. Dinner & cultural show at Karaweik Palace – a famous restaurant located on the Royal Lake built in the style of Royal Barge used by Myanmar’s old days kings. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day - 02: Yangon - Pyay (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the hotel and visit to Sule Pagoda - the heart of the Yangon City surrounded by various colonial style buildings, Tooth Relic Pagoda and Kyauktawgyi Labarmuni Marble Buddha image – the biggest on the world. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Pyay – the old capital of Srikhisara Dynasty located about 5hrs drive from Yangon – 180 miles. Evening arrived Pyay and check in hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Pyay.
Day - 03: Pyay - Bagan (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit to Baw Baw Gyi Pagoda, Bae Bae Gyi Pagoda and Shwesandaw Pagoda. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Bagan – the capital of Myanmar’s First Empire, located 270 miles from Pyay. Evening arrived Bagan and check in hotel. Dinner and overnigh at hotel in Bagan.
Day - 04: Bagan (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, sightseeing Bagan by visiting: Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda - the prototype for later Myanmar pagodas built by King Anawrahta; Kyansitha Umin, Thatbyinnyu Temple - the highest building on the Bagan plain; and Htilominlo Temple - the largest temples of Bagan. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Lacquer-ware making home cottage; Manuha Temple; Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple - known for its wall paintings depicting scenes from the Jataka; and Dhamanyangyi Temple - the most massive temple of Bagan. Evening, visit Shwesandaw Pagoda or Bupaya to watch sunset. Dinner and puppet show at Bagan Top restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day - 05: Bagan - Popa - Mandalay (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Mandalay – the capital of Myanmar’s Last Kingdom located about 180miles - 7 hours drive from Bagan. On the way, visit Mount. Popa - an extinct volcano known as the place for 37 nats (spirits). Sightseeing Mount Popa and environs. Lunch at a local restaurant. Evening arrived Mandalay and check in hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day - 06: Mandalay (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, sightseeing Mandalay by visiting: gold leaf beating workshop, Mahamuni Image - a bronze Buddha image casted during the lifetime of Buddha himself; Tapestry workshop; Wood carving & bronze castling workshops; Marble carving workshop; and silk weaving home cottage. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery - noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda - known as the world biggest book; and finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day - 07: Mandalay - Yangon (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Amarapura - an ancient capital built on the advice of astrologers. Tour highlights are: Mahagandaryone Monastery - where one may observe the daily life of the monks studying Buddha's scriptures; and U Beins Bridge - 1.2 km long over 200 years old wooden bridge. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, boat trip to Mingun where the world largest ringing bell exists. Sightseeing Mingun village and environs. Then drive back to Mandalay and transfer to airport for flight to Yangon. Arrived Yangon, check in hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day - 08: Yangon - Departure (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for departure.
